Tour highlights (April 22 - May 03)
Our tour will show you the most important historical sights of Athens, including the Olympic Stadium, the ancient Roman ruins and the Acropolis. Enjoy a trip to Cape Sounion, Meteora, Epidaurus and Mycenae. Visit the classical sights of Greece, including Delphi and Argolis. Discover Crete, the largest island in Greece, and the fifth largest in the Mediterranean. The island is famous for its remnants of brilliant civilizations, glorious beaches, impressive landscapes, fertile valleys and steep gorges. Become part of the island's rich gastronomic culture. Crete is a small universe teeming with beauties and treasures to uncover.

Tour itinerary
Day 1 (Friday, April 22) - Day of departure
Depart on your flight from Ottawa or Toronto to Athens via a European gateway. Dinner and breakfast will be on board.

Day 2 (Saturday, April 23) - Athens
On arrival in Athens, you will be met by our ground operator and transferred to your hotel.
Welcome dinner at your hotel.

Day 3 (Sunday, April 24) - Athens
Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
Half day guided tour of Athens to include the Olympic Stadium, the Temple of Zeus, the ancient Roman ruins and the Acropolis.
Time for independent lunch. The afternoon is free to explore the city on your own.
Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel in Athens.

Day 4 (Monday, April 25) - Athens / Cape Sounion
Breakfast at your hotel.
Visit the National Archaeological Museum.
Time to buy lunch.
Enjoy a trip to Cape Sounion to see the Temple of Poseidon and enjoy the beautiful views.
Dinner at your hotel.

Day 5 (Tuesday, April 26) Athens / Meteora / Kalambaka
Buffet breakfast at your hotel and check-out.
Drive to breathtaking Meteora to see the monasteries. The word Meteora means 'hovering in the air' and of course brings to mind the word meteor. What created this rare geological phenomenon is one of the mysteries of nature. But as amazing a marvel of nature as these giant rocks are the buildings on the top of these are a marvel of man and make Meteora one of the most spectacular places to visit in Greece. After the tour, continue to Kalambaka where your hotel is located.

Day 6 (Wednesday, April 27) Kalambaka / Delphi
Buffet breakfast at your hotel and check-out.
Depart for Delphi. On arrival, you will visit the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo, the museum and the Treasury of the Athenians. There will be free time for lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to your hotel in Delphi for check-in.
Dinner at your hotel.

Day 7 (Thursday, April 28) Delphi / Olympia
Buffet breakfast at your hotel and check-out.
Cross the Rion Bridge to the Pelopponese. Visit the archaeological site at Olympia, including the stadium and Museum. After the tour, continue to your hotel in Olympia.
Dinner at your hotel in Olympia.

Day 8 (Friday, April 29) Olympia / Epidaurus / Mycenae / Nauplia
Buffet breakfast at your hotel and check-out.
Depart for the region of Argolis. Visit the 4C BC theater of Epidaurus, famous for its acoustics. Continue to Mycenae, the Homeric city of the Atreides - the city "rich in gold". Visit the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean walls, the Royal Tombs of Agamemnon and Clytemenistra. After the tour, continue to your hotel located in Nauplia.
Dinner at your hotel.

Day 9 (Saturday, April 30) Nauplia / Athens / Crete
Buffet breakfast at your hotel and check-out.
Depart for Athens. There will also be a stop at the Corinth Canal for pictures. Continue to Athens, where on arrival, you will be transferred to the airport.
Flight from Athens to Crete. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Dinner at your hotel.

Day 10 (Sunday, May 1) Crete
Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
Half day guided tour of Heraklion, the capital of Crete, and the ruins of the palace of Knossos. Discovered in 1899 by Sir Arthur Evans, the Palace is believed to be the mythical Labyrinth of King Minos and the seat of ancient Minoan culture. The Archaeological Museum in Heraklion displays many of the treasures found during the excavations. The afternoon is free to explore beautiful Heraklion at your own pace.

Day 11 (Monday, May 2) Crete / Athens
Leisurely buffet breakfast, followed by a free morning to enjoy the sun and sand.
Flight to Athens. On arrival, you will be met by our ground operator and transferred to your hotel.
Farewell dinner at a typical Greek Taverna in the Plaka.

Day 12 (Tuesday, May 3) Athens / Toronto or Ottawa
Transfer to the airport.
Flight from Athens to Toronto or Ottawa via a European gateway.
