Tour itinerary
Day 1 - Day of departure
Depart on your overnight flight from Toronto or Montreal to Paris via a European gateway.

Day 2 - Paris
Arrival in Paris and transfer to your hotel. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner at your hotel, followed by a panoramic tour of "Paris by Night".

Day 3 - paris
Buffet breakfast, followed by a half day guided sightseeing around Paris to include the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Place de la Concorde, the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral and much more. The afternoon is at leisure to explore Paris at your own pace. In the evening, after dinner, enjoy a 1-hour Seine Cruise on the Bateaux Mouches.

Day 4 - Paris
After breakfast, depart on a half day guided tour to the Palace of Versailles, the creation of the French monarchy at the moment of its greatest splendour. Consisting of the great palace, the gardens and the Trianons, it is a wonderfully harmonious composition of building and landscape, the definitive monument to French classicism. The afternoon is free for shopping and for further exploring this beautiful city at your own pace. Dinner will be on your own.

Day 5 - Paris / Vimy Rodge / Diepp
After breakfast, check-out of your hotel and depart for Vimy Ridge. On arrival, enjoy a tour of Vimy Ridge, which is a memorial to over 3,000 Canadians who died dislodging the Germans from the Ridge, after the French had failed to do so. The tour is conducted by a representative of the Canadian Forces located at Vimy Ridge. After the tour, you will have some free time for independent lunch in the town of Arras, before departing for Dieppe. Dinner and overnight will be in Dieppe.

Day 6 - Diepp / Caen
After breakfast, depart for Caen. On arrival, enjoy a half day guided tour which will include a visit to Juno Beach where the Canadian forces landed. There is a Canadian Center at Juno Beach. You will also visit the Canadian War Cemetery at Beny-sur-mer, the artificial harbour at Arromanches, and see a 20-minute film on a circular screen about Arromanches (if available at the time of the visit). After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight will be in Caen.

Day 7 - Caen / Bayeux
After breakfast, enjoy a half day guided tour of Bayeux, to include the Cathedral and the famous Bayeux Tapestry depicting the conquest of England by William, Duke of Normandy. The afternoon is free in Caen. Dinner this evening will be on your own.

Day 8 - Caen / Mont St Michel / Loire Valley
After breakfast, depart for Mont-St-Michel, which has been called "the Wonder of the Western World". Its extraordinary site, its rich and influential history and its glorious architecture combine to make it the most splendid of all the abbeys of France. On arrival, you will enjoy a guided tour of the Abbey and Cathedral. After a break for independent lunch, continue to your hotel located in the Loire Valley, for dinner and the night.

Day 9 - Loire Valley
Today, you will enjoy a full day guided tour of the chateaux of the Loire, including Azay le Rideau. The lunch break will be in the small town of Crissay-su-Manse, which is one of the most beautiful villages in France. In the afternoon visit Chateau Chenonceau, built over the Cher River. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel.

Day 10 - Loire
Today, enjoy a visit to a goat cheese making facility in the Loire Valley (visit will include tasting the product). You will also enjoy a wine tasting tour at the Couly-Dutheil winery in Chinon. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in the Loire Valley.

Day 11 - Loire Valley / Chartres / Paris
After breakfast, check-out from your hotel and depart for Chartres, where you will enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent cathedral, founded in the 11th century. It is one of the best examples of Gothic Architecture. After the tour, there will be free time for independent lunch, before continuing to Paris. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner and show at the Moulin Rouge.

Day 12 - Day of Departure
Transfer to the airport in order to take your return flight to Toronto or Montreal.
