Tour itinerary
Day 1 - Day of departure
Depart on your flight from Toronto or Montreal to Prague via a European gateway.

Day 2 - Prague
Arrival in Prague and transfer to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure to rest from your long flight. We suggest a stroll in the beautiful Old Town. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel.

Day 3 - Prague
Breakfast followed by a half day guided sightseeing tour of Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Your tour will include 1,000-year-old Hradcany Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Town, the Jewish ghetto, the Astronomical Clock and Wenceslaus Square. The afternoon is at leisure. After dinner, enjoy a Concert/Play/Opera.

Day 4 - Karlstejn Castle / Konopiste Chateau
After breakfast we will drive through the countryside to visit the Gothic Karlstejn Castle. This castle was founded by Charles IV, the Holy Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia, in the 14th century as a stronghold for the safeguarding of the Czech and Imperial coronation jewels. The tour includes a visit to Konopiste Chateau, last seat of the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, Ferdinand D'Este. The chateau houses one of the largest collections of weapons and hunting trophies in the Czech Republic. Return to Prague. Dinner and overnight will be at a typical Czech restaurant with folklore.

Day 5 - Prague
Breakfast followed by a free day in Prague to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Dinner this evening is on your own. Overnight will be at your hotel in Prague.

Day 6 - Prague / Budapest
After breakfast, depart for Budapest by air. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner this evening will be on your own.

Day 7 - Budapest
Breakfast followed by a half day guided sightseeing tour of the twin cities of Buda and Pest including Heroes Square, St. Stephen's Basilica, House of Parliament, Castle Hill, Matthias Church, the Royal Castle, Fishermen's Bastion and Gellert Hill for the best panoramic view of the city. The afternoon is free. Dinner will be followed by a Concert/Play/Opera. Overnight will be at your hotel.

Day 8 - Budapest / Horse farm excursion
After breakfast, depart on a full day tour to a typical Puszta Horse Farm. You will see Hungarian cowboys show their skills in training horses, and also be offered a carriage ride. After the tour, enjoy a hearty dinner with wine and Gypsy music at a ÒcsardaÓ (typical Hungarian tavern). Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 9 - Budapest / Vienna
After breakfast depart for Vienna by coach. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure. This evening, after dinner, attend a Concert/Play/Opera. Overnight will be at your hotel in Vienna.

Day 10 - Vienna
Breakfast followed by a half day guided sightseeing tour of Vienna to include the most important sights: the Hofburg Palace (the former winter residence of the Habsburgs), the Ringstrasse with its magnificent buildings such as the Opera House, St. Stephen's Cathedral, Parliament, the University and Musikverein. You will also visit the Schonnbrunn Palace. The afternoon is at leisure. Dinner this evening will be on your own.

Day 11 - Vienna Woods / Baden
Breakfast followed by a drive through the charming Vienna Woods, past the Castle of Liechtenstein, the monastery of Heiligenkreuz, the memorial chapel of Mayerling. Visit the spa town of Baden. After the tour, you will have free time to explore this beautiful city on your own, or enjoy a spa treatment (optional). Dinner this evening will be at a typical Austrian Heuriger (wine tavern). Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 12 - Day of Return
Transfer to the airport in order to take your return flight to Toronto or Montreal.
