Depart for New York. There will be a stop for lunch en route, as well as two rest stops. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel located at Washington Bridge.
This morning, after breakfast, take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty (to be seen from outside only as line-ups are hours long) and a visit to the Museum of Immigration at Ellis Island. The Immigration museum is located in the Main Building of the former immigration station complex and tells the moving tales of the 12 million immigrants who entered America through the golden door of Ellis Island. There will be a break for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a half day guided tour of New York City, to include such sights as Ground Zero, Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge, China Town and Central Park. Dinner this evening will be at the Hard Rock Cafe on Broadway in the heart of Times Square.
After breakfast, depart for NBC Studios. Located in midtown's Rockefeller Center, NBC's New York studios always draw a crowd, whether it's for show tapings like "Saturday Night Live" or for just peeping into the studio's "Today Show" windows. The one hour and 10 minute studio tour gives you a closer look at some of the famed stages and sets that are used for these popular shows, as well as the everyday workings of the television network. After a break for lunch, visit the "Top of the Rock" Observation Deck which originally opened in 1933. It offers 360 degree views of Central Park, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building as well as the Hudson. After a break for lunch, depart for the Museum of Modern Art OR the Museum of Natural History (on your choice). Dinner this evening is on your own. We recommend attending a Broadway show (optional).
This morning, after breakfast, depart for "Carnegie Hall", for a 1-hour guided tour. Also enjoy a tour of the interior of Radio City Music Hall. Explore the Great Stage, one of the largest indoor performance stages in the world; the stage's hydraulic system, still in operation since the '30s. In the afternoon there will be time for your last-minute souvenir shopping and exploring with your teachers. Dinner this evening will be at Planet Hollywood Times Square.
After breakfast, depart for your city of origin. There will be a stop for lunch and en route as well as two rest stops (as required by you).
